Perhaps the most important lesson Yoga and Ayurveda has to teach us is that our health is up to us. Every day of our lives, every hour of every day, we can, & do choose either health or illness. AYURVEDA holds that specific disease conditions are symptoms of an underlying imbalance. It does not neglect the relief of these symptoms, but its main focus is on the big picture: to restore balance and to help you create such a healthy lifestyle that the imbalance won’t occur again. Your constitution determines very much about you – your body, your personality, even how you relate to other people. Understanding this lets you know what you need in order to maintain balance.

Yoga your exercise & breathing program must be personally suitable as well. Only then is Yoga suitable for all people – the young to the aged, including those with specific injuries & disabilities. Yoga is most powerful as a stress relief, relaxation, flexibility, mobility, and rehabilitation from operation or injuries.

At Yoga Works for Over 40s we run three classes a week AESTD (Australian Eastern Standard Time ) online. All classes are recorded for subscribers to view throughout the week and uploaded to a private facebook group Yoga Works Better with Ayurveda.
